BUTTERFINGER BUTTERSCOTCH PIE

Ingredients 1 quart vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt, softened 1 pkg (3 3/8 oz) instant butterscotch pudding and pie filling 2 bars (2.1 oz) Butterfinger candy bars, chopped 1 vanilla wafer pie crust (recipe follows or you can use a prepared crust) Light Cool Whip, if desired
Vanilla Wafer Pie Crust 1 ½ cups crushed vanilla wafers 1/3 cup butter, softened Mix crushed wafers and butter. Press into pie plate. | Directions for filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat ice cream or yogurt on low speed until smooth and add pudding mix; beat at low speed for 1 minute, scraping bowl often. Reserve 1 tablespoon of chopped candy for garnish; stir remaining candy into pudding mixture. Spread in crust and fill with pie filling. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Garnish with Cool Whip and reserved chopped candy. |
